I have a love of all things Hello Kitty that is possibly unhealthy considering my age. But happily for me there are things out there on the internet to help people like me – such as this free Hello Kitty hat crochet pattern by Elizabeth Trantham on Ravelry.
It can be made to fit a child, teen, or adult (can I resist?) and it is amazingly cute!
There are step-by-step instructions on Ravelry and Elizabeth is on hand to help with any queries — although it looks like a straightforward pattern.
I think this might just be my favourite craft find to date, and quite possibly could be the first project that I actually get around to finishing!
It is a great piece to make now that the cold, crisp Autumn air is upon us too. If you should also like to create something warm for hands too there is this free pattern for fingerless mitts too by the same creator.
