Halloween is just around the corner, so there’s really no better time than now to get your creepy crafts on. If you’re a fan of amigurumi with a spooky twist, then you’re in luck, because I’ve rounded up some cool patterns, just in time for the most frightening day of the year…
Zombie Rabbit
First up, this adorably terrifying (terrifyingly adorable?) zombie rabbit. The pattern was designed by Shauna from Crochetbot300o.
It’ll require a 5.5 mm hook, light green worsted weight yarn, and a lot of time – but the result is guaranteed to scare and/or be utterly adorable.

A scarecrow
The pattern for this scarecrow (which is, quite frankly, so adorable it should be illegal) was designed by Stephanie Jessica Lau for MakeZine. You’ll need two kinds of crochet hooks: a 1.25 mm hook for the flower, and a 2 mm hook for the rest.
Unfortunately, it won’t scare off any actual crows – but no matter. It’s great for cuddles.

Super cute kitty witch
Armina from Armina’s Ami-Nals has combined the powers of a fearsome witch and an adorable kitten to make a kitty witch. This pattern requires a 3.75 mm hook, and will have you making purry magic in no time.

Big fuzzy spider
SPIDER! AAAAARGH!
…
Ehem. This cute spider is made entirely of yarn, so there’s no need to run a mile when you spot him. All you need is a 6 mm crochet hook and a lot of black yarn to make your own.
This pattern was made by and can be found on Enami Eyes.
