Batman is not exactly the first superhero that comes to mind when you’re on the look-out for cute Amigurumi patterns. But I assure you, this yarn-Caped Crusader is absolutely adorable.
Made by Emjay, of Nerdigurumi, this small version of Batsy is based on his appearance in the Gotham City Imposters video game. Its stubby build matches the style of art used on the loading screens.
This Batman was made with a 3.5 mm (size 4, letter E) hook, and using black, charcoal and yellow yarn. Emjay does add that any sort of worsted weight non-stretchy yarn and hook size will do, as long as they help you achieve neat, tight stitches.
So, if you want to have a go at making your own Mini Batman, and you’re handy with a crochet hook, this pattern is definitely for you. And might I add that the finished product is also a cool idea for a gift to someone?
