As a classic yo-yo dieter, I’ve hopped on and off my fair share of personal scales over the years. In all honesty, very few of them are what I’d class as ‘exciting’. Even fewer are stylish.
Beurer is aiming to change all of that.
The wellness and health brand has already impressed Europe with a range of stylish gadgets. The company’s got a range of attractive bathroom scales, but for me it’s all about the GS58 Driver scales.
The GS58 Driver scales are glass with a cockpit-style display, similar to a speedometer. The scales light up when used, pause for a moment, then swing round to your current weight. You’ll also get your exact weight on the digital display.
For me, the best thing about the GS58 Driver’s personal scales, is that they’ve added a stylish edge to something that is essential in my bathroom. Jumping on the scales isn’t usually fun, but for some reason, seeing my weight on a speed dial softens the blow
You can buy the Beurer GS58 Driver’s scales from John Lewis for £54.99.

The problem with these scales is that although they look really stylish and it’s easy to read the digital display the digital displays only gives you the choice of lbs or kgs, not stone & pounds.
